New York

So my best friend and I are planning a trip to New York City! I am so excited as I have never been there before. My best friend went for the first time last year and she is very excited about going back. HOPEFULLY our trip will happen in late september. We are thinking monday through friday. I've been talking about it non-stop BUT after this will speak no more of it until I actually buy my plane tickets.

Fun and Fashion

I couldn't believe what a steal these bracelets were! Only $2.25 for each set. I am feeling a little guilty that I can't remember the name of the store I bought them in. I have to get better about that.

When I first saw them I thought they were great but started thinking that perhaps there were a dab bit childish. Oh well! I think they are great add to all the black I have in my wardrobe. They add a little bit of color and sparkle. They made me smile!

weddings

So i've decided that I want to get married at a bed in breakfast. I want it to be a small wedding... just close family and friends. I have never been good with crowds, I can't imagine getting married in front of tons of people! Having to stand up there with so many eyes on me! so a small wedding it is. I want it to have a wonderful antique shabby chic feel. My dress wont be vintage or anything.. I want a beautiful princess dress. I want there to be candles, glitter and diamonds everywhere! I'm thinking the colors will be a champagne gold and a soft pink. I want fresh flowers everywhere as well. I never wanted an out door reception but I think I've changed my mind on that.

Now I just have to get engaged :)

Stuck in traffic

I got stuck in traffic on the way home monday night. The sky was soo beautiful that I couldn't resist taking some pictures. The other drivers were looking @ me! Oh well.

Making things for my room...

Here is a cute idea for hanging up (some) of my jewelry.

I have this hanging on my wall. I bought it at a craft fair last year. I fell in love with it! I was thinking that it would actually look great in a bathroom with soft pink towels and wicker baskets :)

not sure where I am going to put this at yet. But I liked the way it turned out. I just bought a square piece of wood at the craft store. I used antique rose, antique teal and gold to paint it. Then I added the little things on top. Most of them are stickers that I added glitter paint to. I love all things glitter!

stuff on my walls

My bedroom has nothing on it's walls right now... well two small things but that's about it. I can't wait to put things up now that I know what I want to do. I'm going to go to the local craft store and grab so scrap booking supplies and basically make a giant scrapbook page and frame it. I'm going to do two of them. I believe the frames are 11 by 16 or something like that. I want to do victorianish, country cottage feeling pages. I'm really excited! I just hope they work out the way I want them.
